The arrival at the North Cape
n Monday,
the 15th of July the party continues by sea from Alattio to the North
Cape which they finally reach at the end of the week. They stay on the
island for a couple of hours and leave by a different route. They stop
by at the island of Måsöy and at Hammerfest. Even in these
little villages they meet priests and merchants. The party is back in
Alattio for the weekend.
Acerbi stops in Alattio for over a week. He makes observations and acquaints
himself with the local life. In the beginning of August the party start
their journey back. In Enontekiö they read in the guest book of vicar
Erik Grape a recent greeting for them from Edward Daniel Clarke. Two globetrotters
have been close to meet each other in Enontekiö in Finnish Lapland.
