On the right the courtyard by the entrance of which there are the kota (teepee) and the hand mill. On the left are the living room, the hall, the kitchen, the food store, the storehouse. Opposite the entrance are the rooms reserved for the expedition members (one of them had a stone pillar built for observation purposes), sheds and an outdoor toilet. On the right side of the courtyard there cane be seen a hay barn, a sheep shed and a stable. From the courtyard there started a road to the Kittisvaara fell, by the road there were the sauna building, a storehouse and a forge.
