Amongst the many great heroes of the North was Starcatherus, renowned for his strength and massive size, who did not find compare in Europe or even the whole world. He was an invincible champion and such an incredibly brave fighter that the fame of his heroic deeds has lived on until the present day. He defeated the King of Norway, attacked Russia and, having waged many brilliant battles in Bjarm, he arrived in the land of Sweden, from which he continued further to Denmark and Ireland and won many contests there as well. In the picture, he holds pictures in his hand which read Starcatherus, the Swedish fighter and a Scythian wolf, Grimmlau Cruel of Claw, rests at his legs.
